Symptom narrative

The patient received only two doses of Vivotif; The patient took the second dose of Vivotif, about like ten minutes after taking it had come up like fully intact in some acid reflux; Case reference number US-BN-2025-000945 is a spontaneous case initially received from nurse via Communication (reference number: USBAV25-1129) on 15-May-2025 and concerns 18-years-old male patient. The patient's medical history and concomitant medication details were not provided. On 13-May-2025, the patient took the first dose of Vivotif (batch number: 3004171 and expiration date: 31-Aug-2025) at dose of capsule, orally, for indication for pre travel to Peru for two years *and typhoid prevention.* On 15-May-2025, reported as day two, the patient took the second dose of Vivotif (batch number: 3004171 and expiration date: 31-Aug-2025) at dose of capsule, orally. On the same sate, as reported, about ten minutes after taking, it had come up like fully intact in some *mild* acid reflux and they just kind of put it in pocket and there it stayed for about three hours. *On an unspecified date, the patient recovered from the event 'vomiting of medication', *as reported, the patient had acid reflux once 10 minutes after taking second dose, no reports of further problems, however, stop date was not provided.* *As reported, the patient received two doses of Vivotif (explicitly coded as 'incomplete course of vaccination'). * The reporter assessed event of 'vomiting of medication' as non-serious and not related to Vivotif vaccine.
