Symptom narrative

Patient received the Prevnar 20 vaccine in her ventrogluteal site (gluteus medius) on March 9, 2026 , then on March 10, 2026 she noticed/ felt a small knot at area of injection without any pain the size of quarter. Patient states that it remained a small knot from March 10, 2026 until March 17, 2026. On March 17, 2026 she let a nurse look at site and the nurse advised patient to rub/massage the area every so often throughout the day and see if that would give her any relief. Patient did massage area throughout the day and when she awoke on March 18, 2026 there was no longer a knot to area but a rash like reddened area with a burning sensation without any pain to area. - area was measured 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches long area.
