Symptom narrative

Patient reported a metallic taste in the mouth immediately after vaccination. She also noted mild dizziness. Patient was monitored for 15 minutes in the pharmacy, she declined any other symptoms. This pharmacist checked the site of vaccination, with no noted redness or irritation 15 minutes following the reaction. At the time that the patient left the pharmacy, she reported that it was getting better, and still had no other symptoms. During the 15 minutes of patient monitoring, she got up and walked around the consultation room and did not note dizziness. Patient still had a metallic taste in the mouth, but noted that it was improving at the time she left the pharmacy.

Other medications

triamcinolone cream, lamotrigine, trazodone, hydrocortisone, levothyroxine, alendronate, gabapentin. Patient may be on other medications, these are recent fills from the pharmacy.
