Symptom narrative

Pt with viral URI sx with low grade fevers for 2-3 days leading up to events. He was given pneumococcal, varicella and MMR vaccines today, after which he developed high fevers of 104 and 1st time generalized febrile seizure lasting 1 minute before resolving spontaneously. Post-ictal for 20 minutes before returning to baseline. Unclear if reaction is due to vaccines or viral URI; however, pt did not spike high fevers until after vaccine administration and had never had febrile seizures before.
