3/19/26- She was seen in office 3/16/2026 and got the pneumonia vaccine. That night her arm was sore and chills. The next day she reported being very fatigued, stayed home, stayed in bed and rested, backache, decreased appetite, sore throat. Fatigue improved yesterday but she started with redness from the shoulder to the elbow yesterday as well with itching. She is also having shooting pains in the legs and cramping toes, and pain shooting from the left elbow into the wrist. Yesterday she took Benadryl and the redness and itching improved. She denies difficulty breathing, throat swelling, difficulty swallowing. She also has been taking Motrin for the pain and it's helping slightly. Patient had a allergic reaction to the pneumonia 21 vaccine Improving with Benadryl Continue Benadryl as needed (will make drowsy) and add daily Claritin non drowsy Continue Motrin and Tylenol Increase rest, hydration, ice to the arm as needed If symptoms worsen, will treat with oral steroids and she will call the office If there is any ananaphylaxis symptoms she will call EMS/present to ER
