Patient received Prevnar 20 dose around 9AM in morning, later that day started to feel GI distress, gut motility seemed to have stopped, felt significant gas and pressure. He took gas x/simethicone but did not notice much improvement. A few hours after that, felt flu symptoms as well. Patient tried to get appointment to see provider about this but was unable to get a timely appointment, managed symptoms at home by following BRAT diet, after about 7-8 days symptoms were resolved.
