Overdose/ an infant was administered an adult dose of Engerix-B today; an infant was administered an adult dose of Engerix-B today; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of overdose in a 1-month-old male patient who received HBV (Engerix B adult) (batch number LZ5X7, expiry date 10-JUL-2028) for prophylaxis. On 16-MAR-2026, the patient received Engerix B adult. On 16-MAR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B adult, the patient experienced overdose (Verbatim: Overdose/ an infant was administered an adult dose of Engerix-B today) and adult product administered to child (Verbatim: an infant was administered an adult dose of Engerix-B today).
