Patient had a vasovagal reaction after receiving his Tdap vaccination and PPD test. Patient became diaphoretic and cool, and stated that "I feel like I am going to black out". The patient also complained of dizziness and blurry vision. Vitals were obtained and the patient was given water and juice. The patient was able to ambulate into the pediatric vaccination room, while under the supervision of two RNs, so he could lay on the bed. The patient laid for about 5 minutes and then stated "I am feeling a lot better and want to try sitting up". The patients vitals continued to improve and was no longer diaphoretic or experiencing any dizziness or blurred vision. The patient expressed that "I am fine and just need to go get some grub". The patient reported that he hasn't eaten anything today, and had only drank coffee. The patient was monitored for around 20 minutes, until the patient insisted that he was ready to leave.
