Upon evaluation, the patient was found lying on the examination bed, eating a snack. The patient appeared tired but alert, with eyes tracking the provider and responding appropriately to verbal and physical stimuli. Skin color was normal, with no cyanosis observed. Respirations were unlabored, and the patient was breathing spontaneously with a palpable pulse. No seizure-like activity was observed. There were no abnormal movements, tonic-clonic activity, or loss of consciousness noted during the event or observation period. The patient was placed in a supine position with legs elevated and monitored closely. Oxygen saturation remained within normal limits throughout the observation period. Over the next 10?15 minutes, the patient demonstrated progressive improvement in activity level, returning to baseline per provider assessment and parent report. No recurrence of symptoms was observed. Given the patient?s stable clinical appearance, normal oxygenation, and improvement with observation, emergency medical services were not activated. The patient remained stable at discharge.
