Symptom narrative

After injection, patient experienced itching on the right leg after leaving the clinic. On Friday, March 19th, the patient went to school with no problems. On Saturday, redness at the injection site occurred along with itching. Family went to the ER that day and felt is a delayed reaction to the vaccine; was given Zyrtec for 2 days to treat the symptoms. On Sunday, the eyes had discharge and patient went to ER again and was diagnosed with Pink Eye. Patient followed-up with us 3/23/2026. The redness on the left thigh has improved, but is not completely gone. No complaints of itchiness, but pink eye is still present in the morning. Antibiotic Eye Drops Rx given by ER on Sunday so care ongoing for eye problems.
