when I took vaccine, it made me feel really funny; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of weird feeling in a adult female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles and pain (painful shingles). On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, less than a day after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced weird feeling (Verbatim: when I took vaccine, it made me feel really funny). The outcome of the weird feeling was resolved. The reporter considered the weird feeling to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the weird feeling to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 28-DEC-2025, 31-DEC-2025, 12-FEB-2026 and 09-MAR-2026 This case was reported by a patient for herself who was a retired nurse via interactive digital media. The reporter saw a man when she was seeing his wife, he had shingles all over his head and it was almost into his eye and all down. It was horrible and it was one of the worst cases she had ever seen. He was not a reporter's patient, but reporter asked him what was wrong with him and then he told reporter, and she was shocked. As nurses she still got shocked, because they thought they had seen it all, but really, they had not. The patient just thought she was going to take the Shingles vaccine. She took the Shingles shot about, she did not know, two or three years ago. But when she herself took the vaccine, it made her feel really funny, but it went away. It was the only vaccine that she thought, she was not feeling too good right then, and as a nurse she said to herself that if she was not feeling really good in a little bit, she was not going anywhere and she was going to tell them that she needed some emergency equipment. They made reporter sit there for 15 minutes anyway; the pharmacy did. She was not short of breath, and she could not remember back what bothered her so much, something did, but all she knew at that particular time was that she remembered thinking, whatever she was feeling right now, if it did not go away, she was calling helpline and she was a registered nurse so she knew. But then it lifted (just as reporter thought about that, it went away) and she was okay, because she knew she did not ever want to experience any kind of shingles again. Probably the one that hurt was that reporter wished they knew about the HPV virus when she was growing up, they had warts and they had no idea that they were caused by a virus. Further reporter stated that now this woman here went through a bunch of stuff and the reporter herself had just a little bit, but she knew how painful it was because she had patience.
