The next day, he felt pretty bad; he developed ringing in the ear; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of feeling abnormal in a 65-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingles vaccine (one dose of Shingles vaccine was received in 2010). On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, 1 day after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced feeling abnormal (Verbatim: The next day, he felt pretty bad) and ringing in ears (Verbatim: he developed ringing in the ear). The outcome of the feeling abnormal and ringing in ears were unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the feeling abnormal and ringing in ears to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the feeling abnormal and ringing in ears to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 18-MAR-2026 The patient called to report that he had received a non-GSK shingles vaccine in 2010 but then during covid, he received the first dose of the Shingrix vaccine. The next day, he felt pretty bad even though he usually handles vaccines well. 30 days after receiving the first dose of Shingrix, he developed ringing in the ear. Since his first dose, he never returned to get a second Shingrix dose. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
