Symptom narrative

On Monday, March 23rd, the patient's spouse came to get his second dose of Shingrix and notified me that his wife got her shot on Saturday, March 21st and that her arm was swollen and red. I spoke with her later that day and she described her symptoms as swelling and redness (about 2.5 inches in diameter) at the injection site. Advised use of cold compress, Benadryl &/or ibuprofen. Upon follow up the next day, the redness and swelling had decreased; she was doing better.
