Symptom narrative

Patient called office about 1.5-2 hours after vaccine administration. Reported that on her drive home she felt very hot. When she got home she noticed facial swelling and redness. Reports no rash/hives or difficulty breathing. Encouraged patient to follow up with pcp or dial 911 or go to the nearest ER if she develops any symptoms such as difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, etc. Per direction of our APN in office today I also instructed patient she could try OTC Benadryl as well.
