Patient became clammy and lightheaded following administration of HPV and Menveo vaccines. She was monitored for 15 minutes in the office and seemed to be feeling better and therefore was discharged from our clinic. However, patient had near syncope in the elevator attempting to leave our office building. Patient was brought back into our lobby and laid down on the couch. Initial vital signs showed a heart rate of 64-68, O2 sat of 98-100, and blood pressure of 92/58. She was given apple juice and goldfish crackers and monitored. On further discussion she mentioned patient did not have any meals since the night before?about 14 hours. Patient stated she had previously had near syncope when she sustained an arm fracture. After monitoring for about 20 minutes, the patient was feeling better and was again discharged from our office.
