Alopecia universalis

Academic Ped Derm PA states they have a male adolescent patient who had a COVID vaccine (did not specify the product) and had spontaneous alopecia universalis occur two weeks later.; This is a spontaneous report received from an Other HCP from a sales representative. An adolescent male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2 NOS), as dose number unknown, single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: ALOPECIA UNIVERSALIS (non-serious), outcome "recovering", described as "Agency states they have a male adolescent patient who had a COVID vaccine (did not specify the product) and had spontaneous alopecia universalis occur two weeks later.". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of alopecia universalis. Additional information: It was reported that Agency stated that they have a male adolescent patient who had a COVID vaccine (did not specify the product) and had spontaneous alopecia universalis occur two weeks later. They are not sure if it was caused by the vaccine or not. The patient has been on Litfulo 50 mg daily for about 12 months and just started to have some armpit, eyebrow and eyelash regrowth which they viewed as a positive. Mentioned that it is not the first time that they've had an adolescent on Litfulo who had armpit hair as their first area of regrowth.
