Symptom narrative

Painful arm/ The pain is located at the injection site and is ongoing.; Numbness/ entire left arm was numb; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of injection site pain in a 76-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number 4A4BM, expiry date 18-MAR-2027) for prophylaxis. On 20-MAR-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (left arm). On 20-MAR-2026, immediately after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced injection site pain (Verbatim: Painful arm/ The pain is located at the injection site and is ongoing. ) and numbness of extremities (Verbatim: Numbness/ entire left arm was numb ). The outcome of the injection site pain was not resolved and the outcome of the numbness of extremities was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the injection site pain and numbness of extremities to be related to Shingrix and Shingrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. It was unknown if the company considered the injection site pain and numbness of extremities to be related to Shingrix and Shingrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device.
