Significant swelling of three or four tendons in right hand/tendon swelling; Development of trigger fingers; Tendinopathy; This spontaneous case was reported by a physician and describes the occurrence of PERIPHERAL SWELLING (Significant swelling of three or four tendons in right hand/tendon swelling), TRIGGER FINGER (Development of trigger fingers) and TENDON DISORDER (Tendinopathy) in an elderly male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient had no medical history, concomitant disease or risk factor. In 2020, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PERIPHERAL SWELLING (Significant swelling of three or four tendons in right hand/tendon swelling) (seriousness criterion medically significant), TRIGGER FINGER (Development of trigger fingers) (seriousness criterion medically significant) and TENDON DISORDER (Tendinopathy) (seriousness criterion medically significant). At the time of the report, PERIPHERAL SWELLING (Significant swelling of three or four tendons in right hand/tendon swelling), TRIGGER FINGER (Development of trigger fingers) and TENDON DISORDER (Tendinopathy) had not resolved. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown) was unknown. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown), the reporter considered PERIPHERAL SWELLING (Significant swelling of three or four tendons in right hand/tendon swelling), TRIGGER FINGER (Development of trigger fingers) and TENDON DISORDER (Tendinopathy) to be related.
