The Covid vaccine was administered in my right arm below my deltoid muscle in what might have been a subcutaneous space. It clearly was not injected in the muscle. I have a photograph of the exact location the injection was given. I understand the vaccine may not have its full effect by being injected below the muscle. My concern is the possibility of developing cellulitis or an abscess at the injection site. I contacted the pharmacist but she insisted over the phone that she knows how to give a shot and is certain she administered it in my muscle which is why I am filing this report as the patient. I am a public health nurse and have given thousands of Covid injections over the past 6 years.
