Symptom narrative

Patient return to office approximately 1 hour after end appointment, with generalized urticaria, complains of itching. Dr. evaluated patient in the waiting area. There is no evidence of any angioedema. Lungs were clear to auscultation, no oral or mucosal swelling. Oxygen saturation was 97%. Patient received oral benadryl 25 mg daily with improvement in symptoms. Parent was comfortable with monitoring symptoms at home. Recommend continuing with Benadryl. ED precautions reviewed.
