Symptom narrative

Chil had vaccine in 2025 Jan. First COVID vaccine. On the same day of vaccine, child had a hearing test as a part of routine wellness checkup. Cleared the hearing test. In September 2025 as a part of school admission, due to state transfer again had a hearing test and failed the same. Note : Child has flu in Feb 2025. After checkups, audiometry test, child has been diagnosed with sloping SNHL in right ear. Reporting as Moderna vaccine and flu were the only events that happened between the two hearing test in Jan and September 2025.

Lab data

Hearing test passed in Jan 2024, and Jan 2025 as a part of wellness check. Moved - School hearing test failed - September 2025, again repeated in December (failed). Pediatric center - Feb 2026 hearing test failed - referred to audiometry and ENT. March 25th, 2026, audiometry finding - SNHL in right ear.
