Caller reports she moved her arm when the pharmacist was giving the injection and a drop of the vaccine went on the table; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of underdose in a 66-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On 16-MAR-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine (intramuscular, left arm) .5 ml. On 16-MAR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced underdose (Verbatim: Caller reports she moved her arm when the pharmacist was giving the injection and a drop of the vaccine went on the table). Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 30-MAR-2026 The patient self-reported this case. The pharmacist would redo the first Shingrix vaccine today 30-MAR-2026 and advised the pharmacist contact (withheld) before proceeding with a revaccination 2 weeks later. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
