Nurse is asking guidance after giving expired Daptacel to a patient yesterday with no adverse event; Initial information received on 05-Mar-2026 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from a nurse. This case involves a patient of unknown age and unknown gender who received an expired suspect Diphtheria-15/Tetanus/5 Ac Pertussis Vaccine [Daptacel] yesterday with no adverse event. The patient's past medical history, medical treatment(s), vaccination(s), family history, concomitant medications were not provided. On 04-Mar-2026, the patient received (dose 4) 0.5 ml dose of expired suspect Diphtheria-15/Tetanus/5 Ac Pertussis Vaccine [Daptacel] suspension for injection, Strength :standard, Frequency :once, batch: 3CA20C1, expiry: 28-Feb-2026) via intramuscular route in thigh nos [not otherwise specified] for prophylactic vaccination [Immunisation] yesterday with no adverse event (Expired product administered) (latency: same day). Action taken: Not applicable. This suspected adverse reaction report is submitted and classified as a medication error solely and exclusively to ensure the marketing authorization holder's compliance with the requirements set out in the Directive 2001/83/EC and Module VI of the Good Pharmacovigilance Practices.
