muscle and joints problem; ankle and joint problems; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A 73-year-old female patient received pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), on 11Nov2025 as dose number unknown 0.5 ml, single (Lot number: HH9323, Expiration Date: 31Jan2027) at the age of 73 years intramuscular, in left deltoid for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "malignant mass removed from my left kidney", start date: 07Mar2025 (unspecified if ongoing). The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: MUSCLE DISCOMFORT (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "muscle and joints problem"; ARTHROPATHY (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "ankle and joint problems". The events "muscle and joints problem" and "ankle and joint problems" required physician office visit. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of muscle discomfort, arthropathy. Additional information: Patient was given the Pneumococcal Pneumonia, the Prevnar 20 vaccine, and she wanted to tell that ever since she received that vaccine, she has had muscle and joints problem. Consumer further stated, it was an inconvenience because it had really incapacitated her very badly. Patient was at his doctor's office when she received it. Right within a couple of days to a week, and patient had been like this ever since very bad in the knees and in the ankles. Patient had been experiencing ever since she received the injection. She never ever had ankle and joint problems before and muscular problems. She was perfectly healthy, so she knew it was from the vaccine, that was the only variable, the only variable that was different. Patient was trying to use Glucosamine Chondroitin with msn two tablets per day with the meals as treatment for events. It was over the counter. Patient had surgery done in March, on 07Mar2025. She had a malignant mass removed from her left kidney (History) but that was not what this was from. So, it was the vaccine. she did not have any problems, the surgery was successful, she did not have any problems until after she took the vaccine on 11Nov2025." Patient had not had any blood work within the last two weeks."
