Symptom narrative

it feels as though the vaccine eliminates a lingering infection and boosts her immune system. She consistently feels better than she did before vaccination; arm hurt; feeling fatigued; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from medical information team. An adult female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in 2020 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "allergic to corn" (unspecified if ongoing); "celiac" (unspecified if ongoing); "menopause" (unspecified if ongoing); "COVID-19", start date: 2020, stop date: 2020, notes: before vaccines were available. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE UNEXPECTED (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "it feels as though the vaccine eliminates a lingering infection and boosts her immune system. She consistently feels better than she did before vaccination"; PAIN IN EXTREMITY (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "arm hurt"; FATIGUE (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "feeling fatigued". Additional information: The patient also described her experiences with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. She reported that this is the only COVID-19 vaccine she can tolerate, as it does not contain substances that cause allergic reactions for her. She first noticed her reaction after receiving the initial Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination, which she believes occurred in 2020, and again following subsequent vaccinations in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Each time she receives the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, she experiences mild symptoms on the first day, including a sore arm and fatigue. After the first day, she consistently feels unexpectedly well. She described it as feeling like she recovered from an illness or as if something in her body resolved. She stated that she believes she has a weak immune system, with multiple allergies, and feels that she may carry minor infections or viruses, such as a cold, that never fully resolve. She reported that after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, it feels as though the vaccine eliminates a lingering infection and boosts her immune system. She consistently feels better than she did before vaccination, describing the effect as feeling better than she ever had. This improvement typically lasts for approximately two weeks and sometimes close to three weeks, after which she returns to feeling unwell again. She stated that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine appears to do more than protect her from COVID-19 and that this effect occurs every single time she is vaccinated. She reported that she has never met anyone else who has experienced the same type of response. She also reported having COVID-19 in 2020, before vaccines were available, and stated that since receiving her first COVID-19 vaccination, she has felt noticeably better after every dose, consistently and predictably. Because of the consistent improvement in how she feels, the patient reported that she schedules Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations approximately two weeks before traveling, as travel is stressful and she wants to feel well beforehand. She emphasized that the effect is highly consistent and that she has never understood why it happens. She stated that no one, including Pfizer, has been able to explain the phenomenon, and she wanted Pfizer to be aware of her experience. No follow-up attempts are possible. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained.; Sender's Comments: Linked Report(s) : US-PFIZER INC-202600061180 same patient, different dose/event;US-PFIZER INC-202600061179 same patient, different dose/event;US-PFIZER INC-202600061178 same patient, different dose/event;US-PFIZER INC-202600061181 same patient, different dose/event;US-PFIZER INC-202600056572 same patient, different dose/event;
