throat started to feel tight but it did not fully close; white of her eyes got really bloodshot red; Initial information received on 17-Mar-2026 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from a pharmaceutical company. This case involves an unknown age female patient who experienced throat started to feel tight but it did not fully close and white of her eyes got really bloodshot red after receiving Influenza Usp Trival A-B High Dose Subvirion Vaccine (Fluzone Hd). The patient's past medical history, medical treatment(s), vaccination(s), family history were not provided. Concomitant medication(s) included Repatha. In Oct-2019, the patient received an unknown dose of Influenza Usp Trival A-B High Dose Subvirion Vaccine (Suspension for injection) (batch/lot, expiry date, strength: unknown) via unknown route in unknown administration site for Influenza. The patient's throat started to feel tight but it did not fully close (Throat tightness, onset: 2019, latency: unknown). Subsequently, the white of her eyes got really bloodshot red (Ocular hyperaemia, onset: 2019, latency: unknown). The patient was told to drink liquid Benadryl and it helped a little bit. The patient was completely fine and was given an Epi-pen in case similar symptoms arise. The patient then received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and did not have an issue. Action taken: Fluzone HD was not applicable. The patient was administered Benadryl and provided with an Epi-pen. Corrective treatment: Benadryl was administered for throat tightness. Event outcome: Throat tightness and Ocular hyperaemia were recovered/resolved.
