got Shingles in the left eye; Suspected vaccination failure; 3 doses administered; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of ophthalmic herpes zoster in a adult male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis and Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 3rd dose of Shingles vaccine, the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced ophthalmic herpes zoster (Verbatim: got Shingles in the left eye) (serious criteria death, hospitalization and GSK medically significant), vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and extra dose administered (Verbatim: 3 doses administered). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the extra dose administered was not applicable. The reported cause of death was ophthalmic herpes zoster. The reporter husband got Shingles in the left eye was in the hospital for two days, went to an eye doctor where they were told he had Shingles in the left eye, he had taken three Shingles shots before this happened and stated lost him a month later. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.; Sender's Comments: A case of Ophthalmic herpes zoster, Vaccination failure, on an unknown time after vaccination with the 3rd dose of Shingles vaccine, the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine, in an adult male patient.
