Describe Event, Problem, or Product Use Error: Patient received Penmenvy during appointment with PCP. Patient walked out to waiting room and began to feel hot and clammy and nauseous. Patient brought back to be evaluated and went to bathroom with concerns that she was going to vomit. When patient exited bathroom, patient was seated nearest nurses station with ice pack on neck, water and juice. Requested for PCP was given to another MA to have PCP come evaluate. Provider brought patient to exam room for further evaluation. Patient was administered Zofran in exam room. Patient and mother were advised of signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and when to return care. Patient and mother voiced comfort with discharge home.
