Symptom narrative

Pain following administration slow to resolve. Pain was treated with Tylenol every 4 hours on 4/8 with notable improvement. Warm compress applied as needed. Pain , erythema and swelling noted to have improved today (4/9/26). On exam today, erythema is measured to be 7 x 5.5 cm surrounding site of vaccine over top of L thigh. Skin over needle site is warm to the touch and tight. No fluctuance appreciated. Patient is afebrile. No pain with ROM of L leg. No lymphadenopathy. Exam consistent with local reaction.
