Patient was anxious about injections, had not eaten breakfast, and rushed to get to appointment on time per dad. Verbalized relief that vaccines weren't too bad and ambulated to waiting room unassisted. While seated in waiting room, dad reports she drooped her head & legs and was unresponsive for a second. A&Ox4 within seconds, patient reports feeling a wave of warmth and wanting to lay down. Patient carried to exam room and placed in trendelenberg with leg elevated by stool. Vitals assessed HR 80 BP 90/60. Skin warm but clammy/moist. With cool apple juice, patient verbalized resolution of symptoms. Continued monitoring/reassessing vitals and patient comfort/orientation every 5 minutes to legs flat then seated with legs dependent. Vitals unchanged. Patient and dad ambulated out of office independently.
