Had flu like aches; Stomach issues; broke out in hives that went into huge welts; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of pain in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced pain (Verbatim: Had flu like aches), stomach discomfort (Verbatim: Stomach issues) and hives (Verbatim: broke out in hives that went into huge welts). The outcome of the pain and hives were resolved (duration 3 days) and the outcome of the stomach discomfort was resolved (duration 24 hrs). It was unknown if the reporter considered the pain, stomach discomfort and hives to be related to Shingles vaccine. Next was stomach issues for 24 hours. Then the patient broke out in hives that went into huge welts. All that lasted 3 days. Lesson learned the hard way.
