Symptom narrative

I received a call from the patient's school nurse saying that the patient was seen by her this morning. His right arm was double in size from shoulder to elbow. She did not know if it was warm to touch or if he was running a fever. She did not know for sure when the reaction happened but thinks it started on Saturday 4/11. She said they iced his arm on Sunday but it did not seem to help. Dad came to pick him up from school this morning. I advised he be taken to the pediatrician or urgent care. When I called the school nurse back a little bit later she said she had gotten ahold of dad they were on their way to urgent care.
