When giving the vaccination the syringe did not let the pharmacist to administer the entire contents of the syringe only about half of the syringe. tried to get it to go but the syringe itself was stuck, patients' muscle was relaxed so it was not resistance from the patient. Prior to administration the needle 25 g 1 in was but on the prefilled syringe and the excess air was removed before administration but it did not work. Due to the fact that the amount of vaccine was unknown the patient was given a second dose of the vaccine that was given without any issue.
