Symptom narrative

patient about 1 week ago (exact date unknown) was getting her second dose "passed out" while receiving the GARDASIL 9 vaccine.; This spontaneous report was received from a physician and refers to a 13-year-old female patient. The patient's concurrent conditions, medical history, previous drug reactions, drug allergies and concomitant therapies were unknown by the reporter. On approximately 07-Apr-2026 (Reported as about 1 week ago), the patient was vaccinated with the second dose of Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9), Suspension for injection (route of administration, site of administration, lot # and expiration date were not reported) given as prophylaxis. On the same date (Reported as while receiving the GARDASIL 9 vaccine), the patient "passed out" (Syncope). Physician sent the patient to the emergency room (ER). At the reporting time, the outcome of the event, as well as if treatment was given for the adverse event, were unknown. The causal relationship between the event of syncope and Human Papillomavirus 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant (GARDASIL®9) was not reported. Upon internal review, the event of syncope was determined to be medically significant. Additional information is not expected.
