After the initial 30 days and now, the left side of my face goes numb/the left side of my face went numb for 30 days; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A 54-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY), on 08May2021 at 10:00 as dose 2, single (Lot number: ER8736) at the age of 49 years, in left arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Hashimotos Thyroid" (unspecified if ongoing); "High Cholesterol" (unspecified if ongoing); "Anaphylactic shock" (unspecified if ongoing); "Tree nut allergy" (unspecified if ongoing); "Various other minor allergies" (unspecified if ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: SYNTHROID, start date: 05Sep2011; ALLEGRA D 12 HOUR, start date: Jan2008; METFORMIN, start date: Jan2008; ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN, start date: Jan2006. Vaccination history included: COVID-19 vaccine (DOSE 1, SINGLE, LOT NO: ER8731, ON LEFT ARM), administration date: 17Apr2021, when the patient was 49-year-old, for Immunization. The following information was reported: HYPOAESTHESIA (non-serious) with onset 08May2021 at 12:00, outcome "unknown", described as "After the initial 30 days and now, the left side of my face goes numb/the left side of my face went numb for 30 days". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of hypoaesthesia. Additional information: The patient was taking other medications within 2 weeks of the event starting. The patient reported that dose 1 of the COVID Vaccine, she was fine. she had the ingredients tested with her allergist since she tends to be allergic to everything before she had the first dose. After the 2nd dose, the left side of her face went numb for 30 days. After the initial 30 days and now, the left side of her face goes numb when she is around someone with COVID, when she have COVID, when she in large crowds, or when she was took new medicine (such as Mounjaro). Seems like the mRNA is in fight mode when something enters her body. The patient had been trying to figure this out with all my doctors for the past 5 years and we cannot so that's why we enter this now. She wanted to see if anyone else has this type of reaction.
