Symptom narrative

Mother was holding the child while the RN was administering vaccines. Upon attempting to administer Prevnar 20 into her left thigh, the child jerked and did not receive the vaccine at all. Discussed with the mother the options of either getting another PFS of p20 or scheduling a later appointment for the pneumonia vaccine. Mother chose to schedule a later appointment for the remaining vaccine. All concerns and questions were addressed with the mother verbalizing understanding.
