This non-serious solicited report (USCT2026131142) was reported to Amgen on 27-Mar-2026 from Patient Support Program by a consumer or other non-health professional and involves a male patient of unspecified age whose fingers were swelling so bad they would bust and it was painful [PT: pain in extremity and PT: peripheral swelling] while receiving Enbrel [etanercept], Single dose prefilled syringe. The patient's concurrent conditions included: psoriasis vulgaris. No past medical history was reported. No concomitant medications were reported. In this follow-up, the patient reported that he had spine surgery [PT: spinal operation], he had two fingers on each hand that do not bend [PT: musculoskeletal stiffness] and he was out of medication [PT: therapy interrupted] while receiving Enbrel [etanercept] with Single dose prefilled syringe. On an unknown date, the patient reported that he had two fingers on each hand that do not bend, and he had spine surgery while subsequently, he was out of medications. No treatment information was received. The outcome of the event's spinal operation and musculoskeletal stiffness and therapy interrupted were reported as unknown.
