Symptom narrative

Patient was given Kinrix on 04/10/2026. One day after on 04/11/2026 patient went to UC with mother for erythema rash on left thigh. Was given 1 dose of antibiotic's for possible cellulitis. Returned later on that same day to the ED with mother for a reevaluation. The area extended slightly beyond the marked area on left thigh which is what brought mother to have pt be reevaluated at the ED at (name withheld) Hospital. Pt was a febrile and was given a 10 day course of cefadroxil and Tylenol and ibuprofen. MOC returned to ED 04/14/2026 with concerns for rash on left arm and left side of neck. The center rash resolved after antibiotic use and was thought that the pruritic rash could be a delayed hypersensitivity. Pt had a follow up with pcp in health clinic on 04/16/2026. At time of visit, rash resolved and advised mother to continue allergy medication for the remainder of the week.
