Symptom narrative

patient presented one week following vaccination- complaints of fever, arm pain, neck stiffness, and 3d episode of hematuria. labs on admission showed elevated SCr of 3.5 from baseline 1.1- kidney biopsy. Diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy confounded by vaccine administration. At the visit, infectious disease was also consulted for concerns of fever and increased WBC. treated with antibiotics of aggressive GAS SSTI due to poor vaccine prep.
