After the injection, I immediately felt as if I were going to faint. I'd never felt that before with vaccines (Covid, RSV, flu, etc.). Early the next morning, I woke up with a burning, tight sensation in my neck, across my upper back, and jaw, and down both arms, especially the left one, into the hands. My joints ached, too. The pain was especially bad in my right shoulder and neck --a place I've never had problems before. It was as if my fascia were on fire. Seven weeks later, I still have nerve pain, weakness, and tightness in both shoulders, down both arms, pain in my neck radiating into my jaw. I wake up in the morning and can barely lift or bend my right arm and have to work to stretch it. I normally swim laps 4 mornings a week and when I swim, each stroke is painful. This morning when I joined my qigong class (like tai chi), lifting and lowering my right arm was excruciating. So far I've tried stretching, massages, acupuncture, PT, and Nucca chiropractic. Anti-inflammatories help, but it's not safe to take them long term.
