Symptom narrative

Patient experienced swelling, redness, and pain to the left arm for 1 week after vaccination. She also experienced joint swelling to the left elbow area. She experienced one day of headache the day after vaccination administration. The patient was seen 6 days after vaccination by an NP to her symptoms. NP treated with NSAID and warm compresses. Patient returned 2 days later after being examined by NP for a follow up with the RN. At that time, symptoms had significantly improved. Patient's arm was warm to touch and minimal erythema was noted. Patient denied pain at time of follow up.
