Symptom narrative

The infant developed a small subcutaneous nodule in the first few days following the vaccine administration at 2 months of age. The nodule was persistent at 4 months of age. It is felt that the nodule likely represents a post-vaccination granuloma. No infant impairment noted. No treatment was deemed necessary at this time. Outcome is expected to be favorable with possible resolution and with potentially a small cosmetic concern if the nodule does not resolve.
