fainted; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of fainting in a 85-year-old patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On 04-APR-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On 04-APR-2026, 1 hr after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced fainting (Verbatim: fainted) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the fainting was resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the fainting to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the fainting to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 05-APR-2026 This case was reported by patient via interactive digital media. The patient received the first shot and felt fine. About an hour later, after getting up from a chair, the patient fainted. After reading about it, they learned that this can be one of the side effect of the shot. Also stated that they did not break anything and was feeling better on the day of reporting.
