The reporter confirmed no symptomatic adverse events.; Inbound call from a nurse calling to report the inadvertent administration of an expired dose of PEDVAX HIB. Caller stated that PEDVAX HIB dose had a labeled expiration date of 03/7/2026 and was administered on 04/16/2026. The caller confirmed no s; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse referring to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's medical history, historical drugs, past drug adverse reactions or allergies, concurrent conditions, and concomitant drugs were not reported. On 16-APR-2026, the patient was vaccinated with the third dose of haemophilus b conjugate vaccine (Meningococcal Protein Conjugate) (PEDVAXHIB) (0.5 ml, lot#: x020942, expiration date: 07-MAR-2026) via route of subcutaneous by a health professional inadvertently for prophylaxis (expired product administered). The reporter confirmed no symptomatic adverse events.
