Symptom narrative

Patient was given the immunization at the age of 8 years old, he was too old for the immunization; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 8-year-old male patient who received DTPa-IPV (Kinrix) (batch number 3rt93, expiry date 03-APR-2026) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and sleep disorder. Concomitant products included guanfacine hydrochloride (Guanfacine) and magnesium citrate, melatonin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (Melatonin). On an unknown date, the patient received Kinrix (intramuscular) .5 ml. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Kinrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Patient was given the immunization at the age of 8 years old, he was too old for the immunization). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 09-APR-2026 Patient was given the immunization at the age of 8 years old, he was too old for the immunization. The reporter asked does this patient need to be given the immunization again but a different formulation.
