I am not sure which type of Covid vaccine I received but I had the covid vaccine at the same time as my DTAP booster. The next day I had swelling in my sinuses which caused pressure in my head and gums along with headaches for approximately 3.5 months.

Went to urgent care in early January (approximately 6 Jan 2025) and was diagnosed with a sinus infection although I had no fever or mucous. I was given a course of antibiotics but the pain and inflammation did not improve and I went back approximately 10 days later and was given more antibiotics but there was no improvement. I made an appointment with my primary care physician's PA the following week and she diagnosed that the inflammation was the result of the vaccine. I was given course of steroids and was told to increase my antihistamine dosage. I followed up with my allergist (annual exam) and he confirmed that the inflammation was not an infection by an immune reaction to the vaccine. I was give additional steroids and was given direction to adjust my antihistamines to greater levels. The pain and inflammation continued and I followed up with the primary care physician's PA on 3/18/2026 and she directed me to see Dr. again on 3/20/2026. He directed me to follow up with my ENT Dr. who directed me to change my antihistamines and file a VAERS report.
