had them even though he had first shingle shot; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: had them even though he had first shingle shot). The outcome of the shingles was resolved (duration 3 years). It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 07-APR-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The reporter reported that the patient had them even though he had first shingle shot they were horribly painful they affected one side of his back and some in face, very painful. The reporter has had shot and did not get, new one came out reporter and patient both got it. The reporter was ask why would anyone go though this if did not had to. The batch number was not provided and we and unable to contact the reporter.
