Symptom narrative

1. The HPV was administered in error. A Hep A shot had been ordered. 2. Two days AFTER the shots were given (and after an antecubital blood draw from the same arm), he developed left arm pain that extended from the upper arm to the hand. This was intermittent, a burning sensation, and was triggered by exertion/forceful use of the arm. The distribution of pain was difficult to ascribe to the route of a particular nerve.

Lab data

No tests done. I saw him back in clinic on 3/31/26. Exam was normal but for complaint of pain (improved but still occurring) with certain arm movements. At f/u by phone on 4/15/26, symptoms had mostly (but not 100%) resolved.
