Symptom narrative

Titers were done (exact date not provided) and nurse stated, "they seemed low".; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse referring to a 17-year-old patient of unknown gender. The patient's medical history, historical drugs, past drug adverse reactions or allergies, concurrent conditions, and concomitant drugs were not reported. On an unknown date (reported as 12 months), the patient was vaccinated with the first dose of varicella virus vaccine live (Oka/Merck) (manufacturer unknown) (strength, dose, route of administration, lot#, and expiration date were not reported) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date in 2014 (reported as 5 years of age), the patient was vaccinated with the second dose of varicella virus vaccine live (Oka/Merck) (manufacturer unknown) (strength, dose, route of administration, lot#, and expiration date were not reported) for prophylaxis. This vaccine was reconstituted with sterile diluent (MERCK STERILE DILUENT) (lot# and expiration date were not reported). On an unknown date, the titer was tested which seemed low. At the time of reporting, the outcome of the low titer was unknown. The causal relationship between low titer and varicella virus vaccine live (Oka/Merck) (manufacturer unknown) and sterile diluent (MERCK STERILE DILUENT) was not reported.
