Symptom narrative

Rabies vaccine from manufacturer is packaged with 2 x 25 G needles. They are specifically labeled "1 x 25G needle for reconstitution" and "1 x 25 G needle for administration". Neither needles contact any patient/staff safety features to prevent needle stick injuries. The syringe is luer-lock, so it seems as though they should either not include an administration needle and recommend staff uses a normal 25G "flip-cap" or vanish point syringe. Staff is at an increased risk for needle-stick injuries on an IM injection when following the package insert.
